Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken during an art competition for children held in conjunction with “World Water’s Day 2005” at the central square last Sunday. This competition was organized by the Water Department of the Public Works Department, Brunei. It is to instill the awareness on the importance of water in our daily lives.
The children seen here are all armed to the teeth for the attack. You can see the eagerness on their faces and the formation, like that of a regiment charging forward. The very generous prizes offered had also motivated them to go all out.

Excellent color & sharpness. A veritable riot of color, in fact! Some of the hightlight areas are a little overexposed, but this could be improved in photoshop. Overall, a very good shot. Bagus sekali. Well done!

Perfect picture! I liked very much the quality of the image and also the colors. About the note, very interesting. I'd like here in Brazil we had some projects like that...

Great picture! Such a joyful army! I like your point of view that emphasizes the competitor in the first row but allow us to see all the colors and happiness behind them.
