Photographer's Note

Genoa is a small village just south of the NSW/Victoria border. It used to be on the highway and had a pub, general store, a petrol station and even a cafe but those are all closed.
Today the cars and trucks rush past only 200 metres away without more than a glance. This single lane bridge was for the highway to cross the Genoa River but is long since closed. They've fixed up a stip of the bridge so that people can walk across but the rest of the bridge deck is pretty rotten.

Best in the large view.
