Great faces and great colors. I like the composition of the two boys and the old man, but I found the hand and arm on the right side a little distracting. I might crop them out.

It seems I have run out of smileys!!! Anyway, this deserves a big one. The hand on the right may well be disturbing, but I am afraid that cropping it out will do more damage than good because it will leave you with half a face instead. So, my advice is: don't touch it!

I think you've got an excellent capture in the young boy and old man. The joy of the boy and look of interest in the man's eyes to me connects the two generations. I can see the old man as a boy and the boy as an old man in this image.

I think if you crop down tightly to just the two and clone the background to simply stone you can produce a very strong image.
