Photographer’s Note
It was the afternoon on a sunny day in December at Strasbourg train station, and I was waiting for a correspondence. My camera was handy as usual, I suddenly found a scene which I imagine all photographers would like to find.. I was so excited that I forgot and lost my portable phone on the bench . I snapped only two exposures. This is the first one.

very beautiul moment izzet
quite a sentimental scene
the husbad/father must be leaving
i think the shadows here add so much more to the drama and ofcourse the train tells the story.
the lighting here is wonderful
but i don't know why i feel that there is a slight haze in the scan
i sometimes get this kind of a haze in my scans
i've given a workshop but don't know if it worked
take care :)

A great scene, Izzet. I like the way the little girkl is watching. It is very strong scene thanks to the backlight and the fact that the there is nobody else in the frame but those three (and you..).
Beautiful.

Hi Izzet, I could say that you had very well spotted the occasion, but that's why you're a photographer, right?
The lateral light creates such very nice shadows, and the girl looking up, with the divine light on her face (a bit blown out, but not important), is SUCH a nice moment.
I guess trainsations are nice places for such scenes.

a very amusing scene with this little kid seemingly watching the scene with much interest... slightly overexposed to the left...some pp might be necessary to push up contrasts on the tender couple maybe? i like this overall scene a lot

Hi Keribar, I just discovered your work, with the bycicle in Marakesh, now this one has the same ingrediants that make-for me- a good picture. Your picture tells a story. Bravo. I like the child, looking up to his mother or father, and the golden light, giving a feeling of happy days ahead.
