Photographer’s Note

I was travelling from louangphabang to Viang vieng by bus.As we hurtled round the hillside this amazing scene appeared on my right.It was difficult to take tha photo inbetween the trees and I had to avoid catching the motion blur from the vegitation just below this frame.In all truth I thought I hadn't got it but I was nicely suprised.About a year later I tried to find this spot on moped but could not as I got low on petrol.I would still like to go back and see if I can get any closer.

Quite impressive landscape. The sequence of hills until the big mountain create a good sense of depth. Some more brightness, contrasts and a noise removal tool could help in enhancing this image.

I knew where this shot was as soon as I saw it. It is a great trip through the hills, you did well getting this shot from a moving bus.
Thanks for bringing back the memories of that bus journey.

Hi Gren - very impressive mountain, I also like the sky and the lush green hills below. Hard to believe it was taken from a moving vehicle.
