You find these scenes in all the big cities. Here are elements of two different Indias: the reality of the street and the fantasy of the Bollywood dream - worlds apart really.

Hello Caleb,
nice mood and contrat you have captured here. I'm a Bollywood movies fan, and the people seems to be so happy in those movies and sometimes it's hard to face the reality. But the common point is all is colorful in this country.
Very nice shot, did you used a wide angle ?
Luan.

Indeed India is a dream kept lively by cinema, nice contrast here of subjects, you made it a bit timeless by the distortion, a clear sharp shot and showing the not colored part of India.

I like your photograph. A very wide shot, nice angle, but I think you miss out on a bit of space on top. Would have liked to see a bit more, would have been nice if you could have tilted the pic just a tiny bit.

The white hair of the man looks beautiful with his dark skin, by the way.

Nice. Cheers, sarah

Nice composition and the look on the mans face. The poster looks great in contrast with the otherwise grey colour.

intense look he has, nicely kept details. you could have used a different lens for getting rid of the slight distortion.

This is great! I just wish you could get a bit more of the poster...it seems a bit insignificant.

Nice. I like how the colors match...the wall and the man himself seem to be blending into each other. Looking at your past shots I think you know how to play the color game quite well...and this is what makes your shots so great to look at (they are, indeed, very visual). The other thing I notice here (something that is important for the shot to work) is the fact that the Bollywood poster, being a bit more colorful (as life in Bollywood indeed must be compared to this guy's everyday life) stands out nicely and completes the story full circle. Good work!

nice shot caleb! i like the angle of shoot you chose for this photo! the colored poster barely being the only flash of color is well placed in your frame...
Eric

I don't know Caleb. I like the overall setting/framing of the picture and the subject but I find the wide-angle distortion disturbing.
I bought myself yesterday the 10-22. Let's see over the week-end how it behaves.
