Photographer’s Note
This beautiful smile certainly helped this girl draw attention to herself and whatever she was selling. She was selling something probably as precious as this beautiful smile of hers - Can you guess what could it be? I'll post the answer tomorrow ! :)
I had no problems spotting this attractive girl in a very busy crowd at a market in Djenna ;). She was by herself looking bored but I've decided to start up a conversation with her with VERY little french that I know. We did not said much but we surely smiled a lot ;).

Ciao Krzysztof,
what a nice smile! With perfect teeth!
I try to understand the post processing: scanned print or film, some scratches I see; then a mix of usm and blur or neat image to highlight some particular.
Cheers,
Davide

Great lovely smile you captured here!! (with her perfect attractive teeth, heeh) Just one thing, a white dot in the up left corner, is it a dust in your lens maybe? I was wiping my monitor untill I came to realise it might be a dust in your camera.

Its a great portrait Krzysztof, a wonderful smile.. This red colour makes the picture as well..
(PS. What is this kind of soft, unsharp looking image, i dont think you are doing this intentionally, right? because you generally like sharp images afaik.. So, its the print i guess,. (or lens and scanning processes altogether?!)
Regards.

Hello Krzystof,
Marieaude is probably right, she is smiling because she was happy about the attention you gave her But as a picture I also enjoy it very much: I would certainly put in in my recent India Exhibition if I had taken it.
Also thanks for your comments - Take care - Izzet

Hi, K.
It's a shame it's not sharp enough, because we follow you in everything you say about that moment, having spotted this beautiful smile in the market crowd. On the other hand, its sucess with many members encourages some of us who have a wonderful image but hesitate to post it because the focus erred a bit (here, her bottom left arm).

Hi Xtof - another fine portrait, the smile is beautifully captured. The story made me smile, last year I got hit on by a girl at a gas station in Botswana. She kept smiling and giglling and talking to an older woman in the local language, just before I left she said "take me with you". (well.... with such high aids risk I must say, I did NOT take up the offer)

Czesc,
fajna fotka, sliczny usmiech dziewczyny. Tylko cos z ostroscia jakby sie zle porobilo. Jednakze fotka przyciaga oko. Ma w sobie to cos: a tym czyms z pewnoscia jest dobry kadr i kolory.

She certainly has a wonderful smile. I wish that people in Germany also smiled a bit more instead of being grumpy and unhappy. Compared to poor countries like Mali we all certainly live a luxurious live. And still those people look much happier than many Europeans. Thanks for posting this wonderful shot, I hope many will (still) see it and have a happy day when thinking of it.

Hi Krzysztof,
I do not know what she was selling, but her smile and the photo itself is superb. The colors are vivid and nice, the pov and the composition are outright excellent.
Best regards. Salvator.
