Photographer’s Note

10.49 a.m. - This market place is just across the row of shop houses as seen in my last photo on Limbang town. This is the most popular place for the Bruneians shoppers as this is where they get their supply of vegetables, fruits, local jungle products and other daily use items. When I walked in, I was wondering as to what I should capture and what I really want to show of this place. Finally I decided to focus on “money”, as this is what makes the Bruneians flock to Limbang every weekend - the good value of the Brunei dollar. Thus I waited and took this shot.

"Money money money, could be funny, in a rich men's world"
Do you know this old song from Swedish band Abba ? Well looking at your photo I guess it's still very much appropriate, money rules the world, I think you illustrate well your subject with this view, I like too the busy atmosphere I can see in the background, from my stay in Malaysia I remember they have excellent fresh fruit juices.

Hi Aloysius, I got up a few minutes ago. This picture make me hungry. I can imagine the yam taste of the food on the stand. A very colorful, very clear and well captured daily life action scene. Well done. And I am jealous of you for all those tasty food you have there :D

Hey Aloysius. A great catch of this transaction. It's funny how a scene like this is so international. I think the contrast is very good as is the saturation. A nice addition to the Food and daily life category Aloysius!

This catch is well done, the transaction is very well pictured and from a good angle.
From my screen I find it a bit saturated and I think there is a small lack of quality.
Anyway I like it

Yo Aloysius.
You should name your title - "yo, pay me my money" It sound much suitable.
Wonderful daily life shot and the clarity and sharpenss maintained to give the perfection to the picture.

Aloysius, really good sharpness, color and contrast. The sharpness is especially good because you have that smoke softening up parts in the middle. The exposure is spot on. Well done, my friend.

Good daily life shot, Aloysius. Colours are vibrant, DOF is good and you've captured just enough of the smoke from the satays on the fire to give this a real pasar atmosphere. Cheers . . . David
