Another photo taken at the Uros Floating Islands.
We all have dreams in our life and most of the time we are afraid to follow the dreams and because we don't want to loose the comfort and the security that we have in our life.
This man on the photo was an European and he decided to live with the other local on the floating island. And earned his life by doing some souvenirs, in particular dream catchers.... Did he catch other's dream to fuel his own :-)) |

Bala, This is an image that, besides its obvious technical and compositional merit, goes MUCH deepr. In combination with your challenging note, we're in the realm of philosophical wondering and yes, poetry. The slices of bokeh immediately behind and in front of the man seem synthetic to me (post processing) but somehow they are effective too.

I wish I will visit this place on next september. It's a nice picture, the DoF is very good and this scene has been well portrayed. May be next time, try to do not too center your subject ;o).

Very insightful note, and great picture. I really like the POV...you have captured a tranquility here that would have been lost if the subject knew you were taking his photo. The DOF and colours are also great. Thanks for sharing! :)

I sold my house, gave away all my personal pcessions but a few things, gave away my car and truck, and left the USA. I have been gone almost 3 years. It was my dream to see the world all my life, since I could read. I knew it was now or never, I am 58, and getting old.
