Photographer’s Note

its another hot and humid day.. in front of the always crowded Chattuchak Weekend Market, Bangkok. For many of us, the market is something excited and nice... but for the man and his daughter here.. its just another normal day..

He is one of the hawker selling some simple Thai food in front of one of the entrance of the market.. competing with others hawkers that looks far more appealing and interesting. The day seems so slow-moving for him at the moment.

I just took a simple snapshot from the side..converted it to black and white using photoshop.

NIcely observed daily life protrai. I like the pose taken by the bored looking boy. Good in B&W.

Interesting and simple dailt life photo.
From your photo, I noticed that there are areas which are overexposed (the background) and the vendor are underexposed. I assumes that the color of this photo did not turn out as you prefer and have it converted to B&W instead.
You should used your body flash to enhance the color or lighting of the vendor. I believe this will work on such shot.
