Photographer’s Note
A Chinese temple in Hoi An that dates from the 17th century. (The gates & courtyard were built in 1975). It's called the 'Assembly Hall of the Fujian Chinese Congregation'. The Chinese dominated Vietnam's commerce, trade, & economy, for centuries. Hoi An was an international trading port, with a large Chinese community. Another view here:

I like this kind of pink colour and all the motives around the temple (especially the statue on the left). It looks like a fantasy cartoon! Too bad that this tree appears on the top-right corner, but to me it doesn't matter, this is really a nice shot!

Interesting colorful temple, Chris, well presented from the slightly diagonal angle. A baffling amount of ornate details and décor to be found in this one, very nice.

Hi Chris. I like your compo and colors a great deal. Again it's too bad about the scan quality but everything else is great. I like the sky too. Good shooting Chris.

Hi Chris, I did not know that this temple has a Vietnam version. A temple with the same name has been a well known in Hanzhou because of a historical novel. A well captured picture with nice color contrast and sharpness.

This is such a nice building! I really like how the green tiles fit it into the surrounding trees and bushes. The pink color brings the necessary contrast to make it stand out. For it’s age it looks in a good shape.
