Photographer’s Note

A Chinese temple in Hoi An that dates from the 17th century. (The gates & courtyard were built in 1975). It's called the 'Assembly Hall of the Fujian Chinese Congregation'. The Chinese dominated Vietnam's commerce, trade, & economy, for centuries. Hoi An was an international trading port, with a large Chinese community. Another view here:
