Photographer’s Note
This photograph was captured at The Ibn Battuta Mall
Dubai, during Dubai Summer Surprises. The theme was Colour Surprises Week.
These are the Kathakali Dancers --classical dance from South India. Each dance performance usually lasts for approx 4-5hrs. A full dance normally takes a few days, back in India. Tourist versions are a couple of hours only. Most stories are religious epics. They roll their reddened eyes, and make facial gestures as a main part of the stories.

Welcome to TE, Claude. This is a very colourful composition, but you should include a note to explain what we are looking at. Cheers . . . David

very sharp and colorful! I like the character on the left, his eyes are piercing through the lens.
Thanks for sharing,

This is very colourful. Are their many Indians living in Dubai?
I like the very candid nature of the shot. Well done.
