Photographer’s Note
This photo is from my recent visit to Ottawa. There was this person who was performing with the fire in the Byward Market and I wasted no time in setting up my camera and taking the shots.
What do you think about this photo, the girl sitting on the corner, the people?
Your critiques would be appreciated.
Thanks to everybody who visited my gallery in the past week, i will try to get back to all of you in the coming days.
Cheers

Nice pic Sarju! I love the light, the action, the low POV and the contrast between the dark sky on one side, and the fire/bar front on the other side. Did you take any more of this? I would like to see some other POV's. Maybe some focussing in on the action as well as the one here with a more overall view. Thanks.

Good that you put us on the right track with the title to spot this happening that you took with a long exposure lightening up th whole environment with a low POV and the girl on the side to enrich the compo, I hope the floor was not to dirty.
A good not easy shot to register this moment Sarju.

Hi Sarju, I think is a good shot of night life. I like this circles of fire. The girl doesn't disturb me to much, because my attention goes to the light and fire. And I hope for the man that eats fire for dinner that he has some digestive in his bag ;)

Hi Sarju. What do I think of this shot? It's eye-catching to be sure. It looks like there is some blur in the people. Is that because the people where moving around because of the 3 second exposure or was your camera moving? It looks like you laid your camera on the ground and pointed it up. I think the shot could be improved if it were less bright and we could see more stuff. Nice shot, thanks for sharing Sarju.

Hi Sarju, A very nice action shot. I like your low PoV in taking this picture. The low exposure speed enables us to see the trace of the fire, which makes a very nice spiral formation. You have well captured the environment of the street show as well. A well taken picture.

Hi Sarju... ahhhh you're getting more into people photography!!! funny isn't it?
And i must say you've got a special touch for it, i love everything about this... all your doubts (girs, the people) don't make sense to me.
I especially like the girl and the POV

Hi Sarju,
What an interesting shot and taken of all places in sedate Ottawa! You have really captured all the action here and its great how no-one is paying any attention to the camera. Amazing how you captured the flame spirals. Perhaps a slightly darkened foreground would enhance, but other than that the shot is first rate. Well done.

Sarju, excellent picture but i think you doesn't dominated those lamps. Out of that sentence, i like the people efect and the daily life theme are very interesting and very fine. Continue posting your pictures.
I like the black natural sky.

Hi Sarju,
I know its difficult to take this kind of shot. There is so much to consider - the lighting, the speed, the timing, composition, colour and so on. Anyway, its exciting to see the result. I like this low POV and the enjoyment the onlookers seem to have. Its a nice idea to have one person in the foreground. Well done!! Have a nice day.

Hola Sarju. Felicidades.

hi sarju
nice composition here, like the way you've included the crowd and the seated person on the left
perhaps a little bit overexposed, but still a very good shot

Love the low POV. Great capture of the fire eater, what a strange way to make a living! Does this give you any ideas for job search? LOL!!
