Photographer’s Note

Lantern Festival is a day we in Seattle and arrount the world remember the people of Hiroshima . this is the first time I was able to see this event in person . it brought tears to my eyes when the read the story of teh young Japanese girl who Floded 10000 crains to get well after the Bombing of her city . we write messages on rice paper and float candles to carrie our messages od hope and peace .

This photo is really cool. I'm amazed no one else has commented on it. I like the level of exposure you have here... puts the focus on the lanterns, right where they should be. Nice work!
