I like this photo, as sky has fine color and shows, that really, palace is high.
PKiN is visible from many places of Warsaw.
The highest building in Poland, 42 floors. Viewing Platform on the 30th floor at the altitude of 114 m. There are 3288 rooms in the Palace. The Skyscraper is erected as a gift of Soviet Nation for Poland. Joseph Stalin is the author of the concept.
Date of construction start up: 2 May 1952. Date of final construction works: the year of 1955, 50 years ago!!!

good picture of this builtding in stalinistic socialist architecture. Good POW and a beautiful blue sky. Nice framing.

Really fine shot Ewa, Your point of view makes the building look extemely imposing which, in all probability, was it's purpose in the first place!
There's a lot of "looking up buildings" shots on TE, but this one stands out with its sharp configuration of angles. Well done.
