Photographer’s Note

It was amazing to watch the geese swimming or flying at Geneva Harbour. What I have noticed was, that these geese do not do anything alone. Either they do in groups or do in pairs. It is weird, isn't it?

Some facts about the Lake:))
Lake Geneva is the largest freshwater lake in Western Europe, holding some 89 trillion litres. It’s really just a big bulge in the course of the River Rhône, which rises at the Furkapass and flows westwards between the mountains of Canton Valais to enter the lake near Villeneuve. Its water reaches the Mediterranean near Marseille flowing on through France.

This Lake/Harbour gives lovely sceneries... This shot is taken from a bridge in the city centre.
Unfortunately my cam was a very old & basic one, therefore I couldn't upload it in color.

This is a dreamy image, Pinar. My first thought was that it was noisy and out of focus, but it didn't take long to see the dreamy, misty effect this has. A surreal and engaging image!

Those pairs really catch the eye. You really have managed to tackle the technical challenges here. This shot could have been taken decades ago. I guess Geneva shoreline hasn't changed much lately. I may try something like this later as I don't have proper equipment to scan my slides.

pınar merhaba,
bu çok hoş bir görüntü ;bilemiyorum renkli halini tercih edermiydim,değişik olabilirdi ama siyah beyaz gayet güzel bence.kamerandan hayıflanmana hiç gerek yok,birazcık kontrast vererek bir ws hazırladım;umarım hoşuna gider.

gerçekten çok hoş bir görüntü yakalamışsın. Sudaki izler, gökyüzü ve çiftler harika. Fotoğrafın orijinalini WS olarak yüklersen üzerinde biraz uğraşmayı gerçekten isterim.

hioç siyah beyaz düsünmemistim burayi. tarihn derinliklerinden çikmis gibi. netlik sorunu da aslinda bu izlenimi günçlendirerek + duruma geçiyor.
