Photo taken from the look out on Road 138 as we are entering the Baie Saint-Paul valley.

The City of Baie Saint-Paul is built about 1 km inland. The shore remains basically untouched.

Isle-aux-Coudres can be seen in a distance.

Image slightly cropped. Adjusted contrasts, colors, contrasts and levels. Also filtered with Neat image before resizing.

absolutely splendid scene, wonderful colours great DOF. The sky is excellent, with the clout really appearing three-dimensional. What is the blue building (?) in the middle distance? It is a bit distracting.

C'est marrant, je lisais justement dans un autre forum l'histoire d'un gars dont le père habitait sur l'Isle-Aux-Coudres, et je n'avais pas la moindre idée d'où c'était ni à quoi ça pouvait ressembler! Alors merci TE (et surtout merci à toi) pour élargir ainsi mes horizons...
Le ciel magnifique fait bien sûr toute la force de cette photo, en mettant en valeur la majesté du paysage. Pour l'équilibre de la composition je crois que j'aurais coupé le bas, juste au dessus de la petite clairière qui est à gauche. Qu'en penses-tu?
Bravo en tout cas, c'est très beau, belle lumière en plus.

Wonderful landscape shot. Everything here seem fairytale. The sky with its clouds, the land with its green and the sea with its shore. And putting the blue structure in the hidden greens makes you wanted to search for more subjects in your image.

Hi Robert, This is a splendid image of a peaceful landscape! You captured an impressive sky and thanks to a great perspective, I almost feel while watching it that the right top cloud will float over my head. I have no inkling of an idea what the Carper format is, but yours will do very necely. Above all I like the sky. Very nice compositions with excellent colors. Thanks for sharing.

The polarizer really worked great with this scene. Making the clouds just a bit more obvious and defined. Adding dramatically, to the countryside landscape below.
