Photographer’s Note
not unusual in some countries but in the uk the red squirrels numbers have dropped drastically due to the gre y squirrels earlier gestation period and so feeding of their young takes place earlier..leaving not much food for the red.
this is taken at the red squirrel sanctuary at formby..where protection help the red to grow in numbers.
whether this is a 'green' and lasting proposition is yet to be seen...nature is natural

A beautiful animal and well composed with good exposure,however the focus appears slightly out and there does appear to be a bit of grain that rather lets it down for me.

Hi,
This animal looks very kind but I can't see his fur. What a shame!
Like "Cliffy" I 'm not sure it's a grain.
