hello Jeff, what an eyecatching shot. Great capture of the movement. The colors are wonderful, and the light on the pebbles makes them almost alive.

I'm not surprised you can't keep away from this place, it's stunning! The patterns and colours in the sky are wonderful and I like the way the slow shutter has rendered the water like a mist around the stones.
The light is fantastic and you have brought it all together to produce a very special image. Well done Jeff. Best wishes, Vicky

I don't blame you for not keeping away from the place, this location is absolutely fantastic. The low angle is great, the sharpness on the nearby pebbles is needed to make the shot work, and boy do'es it work. The sky is fantastic, as is the wave heading your way. Altogether a stunning image, keep up the good work!!!

Hi Jeff, after commenting on Southerndown I couldn't resist a workshop here.
It's such a strong composition with great depth and a Turneresque middle distance creating a great sense of movement.
The original is a bit small to hold all the tones but I had to try.
Hope you like.

Hey Jeff!!!
Magnificient shot. The clouds and the pebels are amazing. If I'm not wrong, there is wave that comes toward us.It adds a lot of drama to the picture.
Very well done,
Itamar

Great shot Jeff, love the low pov and great clarity to the composition. You will have to explain to me about that sky cycle you mentioned. Well done.

There really isn't a reason to stay away from this beach since the pictures keep coming out like this. They have this outerspace feel to them with the lively sky and reflective stones- its good combination. Keep up the good work.

Wow, quelle belle photo!
La longue exposition donne l'impression que c'est de la fumée autour des cailloux et non de l'eau! Effet très réussi!

Wow. How did you get that consistent slick effect on the cobblestones ?
daelomin (0) 2006-01-19 5:09
Masterfully done!
Did the water just retreat from the pebbles at that point? It looks like a thin sheet of water is all over them...
Amazing!

What a stormy and moody atmosphere - wonderful colours and light! The cloud shapes and colours really contrast well with the crashing waves and misty look of the large pebbles in the foreground. Great textures and composition overall.
