Sukhothai Historical Park comprises the original capital of the first Thai kingdom. The ruins are one of Thailand's World Heritage sites. We were cycling round the central zone of the park, in which the best preserved and most impressive ruins of ancient temples and monuments can be admired. It is like a trip back in time during which one may become familiar with the architecture and culture of the old kingdom. This is one of the numerous images of the standing Buddha and a typical stupa of the ancient period. Hope you like it :)
