Photographer’s Note
The last in this series from my local beach, taken with the white balance set for flash in error. Turned in quite a few critiques which are much appreciated. I have one or 2 more, but my Brother (TE member: DLM) kindly suggested I move on.

Bonjour Jeff,
quelle ambiance !
Un paysage biblique, une scène tirée des 10 commandements.
Un une scène du jurassique.
En tous cas, un style très esthétique;

Another spectacular shot! I like the way the dark clouds are mirrored by the dark stones in the foreground - very nicely done. The quality of the light is very good too, despite the W/B setting. The angry sea is another great feature of this photo, and I think the dark tone helps to accentuate this. Great work!

Ok, this is one hell of a picture!
So perfect, everything so clean, not a bit of a noise, great colors and contrast, superb lightening, very good composition, great idea.
This really is a superb photo!

Brutal shot, "War of worlds". Congratulation, very good picture! My favourite is that the water seems to plastic on the rocks, and looks like smog at another places. Amazing.

Jeff, I think that your shots are perfect and dramatic with this light. Very sincere to say that it was an error, but the effect is creative.
This is only (I think) a bit tilted on the right

The next time that I go to the beach I will look for such a situation of rocks and water to try to emulate this shot. It is fantastic, like the book covers of fiction stories. I always thought they were paintings, but now I know it is possible to make such a photograph. Very good use of light.

The rocks aren't smooth and round like in the other shots- but I like the drama they add. Those waves go perfect with the sky, its all very beautiful. Your Pebble Beach shots are so surreal- great job with the series!

It's an original point of view for such a landscape, it points out all the elements of the picture, light of the sky, rocks and sea. It lakes sharpness, I will try a WS

Aha!!
Couldn't resist it eh? You just had to do another one! Don't blame you, it must be like being in paradise taking pictures there...and you've managed to get a different aspect in all of them - particularly the foreground - all different. The misty sea is awesome in this one. Couldn't say which one is the best - I love 'em all! Well done again. Take care, Vicky

Excellent capture, Jeff. I love the dark clouds, the slit of sunlight, and the roiling sea. Beautiful work. Well composed, good colors and detail, especially under these conditions. TFS.

Well Jeff,
this is an extrordinary photo (as I've seen you have some more in your portfolio).
Congrats!
Well I've posted a ws, not with the sense of correction... It is just the way I see it.
I've put some sharpness and frame.
Hope you like!

hi jeff, i really like this shot, the rocks and the clouds send your eye to horizon which i think really works. the 1/4 second shutter is interesting as usually people tend to shoot londer for that misty effect, but this somes some details and size in the waves. light is great too, you really have a nice one here, thanks scott

Superb picture Jeff. Wonderful motion captured here, really brings the shot to life. I like the exposure time which still shows the wave like nature of the water.
