Photographer’s Note
If you take a walk from Radavc in the western Kosovo, and climb up for reaching the top of Mt. Rusulija (2379 meter over sealevel) near the border to Montenegro, and take the path I was guided through, you will find a small summer village with small cottage in a green valley after some our.
In this small summervillage some families are living and take care of sheeps, cows and horses for many families living in Radavc. I also met the council of the sheep here, and I guess these are the leadersheeps. (The sheep have organiced their republic like the old Rome (before Caesar Augustus take all the power by him self) where 3 choicen were leading together)
From joke to real. We slept under the star that night, and walk further on the next day, and reached the top of Mt. Rusulija after some our, before we start walking down on the other side.

Very nice picture. At first I am diaspointed by your sky and the colors are a bit blue to me. But then That make the picture looks cold, and the sheeps looks frozen ! So I like it like that.

Very funny. They're like the judges presiding in court. Very well seen and appropriate title. The grainy character of the picture adds to the coldness of the atmosphere.

As gaijin, I do not find that the sky is interesting here. I made a WS to tried something different. Nice subject. Cute sheep!

Very impressice pic. I like very much the way you changed an unsignificant subject (sorry to them! ;) )into some majestic, severe, grave... I really get the feeling the leadersheeps are about to make a major decision - that we will bear for the next centuries!

For some strange reason, this photo took me way back to the hilarious sitcoms of Larry, Moe and Curly...otherwise known as The Three Stooges :-)
Dispite the humor category you place your photo in Eiliv, you offer some interesting notes about the setting.
I agree with Isabelle's cropping out of the bland sky.

So the other sheep follow the leadersheep as - sheep??
What is an "interesting" sky? I don't miss neither blue sky nor storm clouds in this picture. If a completely white piece of sky works a an element in the composition of the image it's fine with me. That said i would consider cropping the image to make the sky roughly the same area as the rocks in the foreground.
Maybe there's a bit too much sharpening here, sharp wool?

Is it an amazing picture or are they amazing animals? I like this image a lot!
I keep looking at their unusual aspect, never seen sheep like those before. Our Dutch sheep look more as "poodles" :o) Clean and "wooly"!
These ones are beautiful and they have an "interesting" expression, never seen that before either, expression on a sheep face! You definitely must be a good photographer.
I like Isabelle's WS. A bit of a pity the background isn't a bit lighter to difference them.
PS: Just checked the link by Derek, it's very funny and you're right about some ressemblance! ;o)))

It seems that the quality of the pic suffered from the scanning, but you at least deserve congratulations for this funny and well-chosen title !

Very very charming shot. The minimal colours are also very effective. The dust somehow creates a sense of being "rustic". Good shot!

les 3 sujets sont tellement beaux ....Ils semblent très bien adaptés à leur environnement.....et s`y confondent merveilleusement bien...
Bien vu

Great picture! The cold blue tone gives you a feeling of beeing in the mountains.

The sheeps look frozen to death! The look you got on their faces make us feel the cold it was when you took the picture, they´re in absolute state of shock!I like thge colours, makes everything looks like ice!Lovely shot!

These are great looking sheep and you have framed them very well. I like the feeling of how rugged and barren the hills are where they live. A normal condition for sheep I guess, cows get the best pasture and sheep get the rocky slopes!
All three looking right at you; good timing and a fine capture.
Not sure that all the sky adds anything to the shot.

I saw this great shot on your intro page, Eiliv. Great title to stress the 'humanity' of this portrait. Powerful, excellent mood in colours.
