Photographer’s Note
The Minaret of Jam is intricately decorated over its entire surface. The patterns are designs from the Ghorid period. Even through the minaret is 800 years old the detail is remarkably well preserved.

I like this shot! The icredible detail is now apparent, and there is a wonderful transition between light and shadow. The addition of the moon is a nice touch. Great work!

Excellent exposure, nice deep rich colours, great contrast. This close up gives good detail of the carving and craftsmanship of the building. The moon is an inspired touch.
