A very nice one.

Hi Colin!
Nice movement in the water. I like that the rocks are a bit dark, makes the picture a little bit mystic and adventurous. Well captured!

Lovely silk effects! Just cut 50mm on the top (where a small source of light disturbs a bit) and the picture is perfect. Please can you give us more technical details? (exposure, ISO, aperture, use of a ND filter, etc.) Thanks and regards.

Wow! This is a great one Colin. The smoothed out water matches the smooth rocks, and yet it still retains the sense of motion. Great composition too. Well done!

Hi Colin,
The water in slow shutter speed and the curved nature of the stones look great - they really bring out the character of this of this beatiful river. I grew up on it for many years at Aberyscir, right at the confluence of the Usk and the Uska, and these bring back a lot of memories - particulary the rock which is pretty unique to this river. Incredible to see a bit of home from so many miles away.

Hi Colin, I see you've returned to your water-flow photos..that's just great as I happen to think they're one of your best, I once again have to write that the "flow" effect i wonderful, the water seems so soft thanks to it....and good composition.

Hi Colin
Congrats on your 100th posting! Wonderful composition with the swirling water, and the effect is fantastic, achieved with your ND and slow speed.

Very soft, velvet like result by the use of the slow shutter. Good graphic presentation, well considered compo. Maybe the little white 'dot' in the upper part shoul have been removed.
Impressive result as a scanned photo.

Colin
Very interesting and classy shot here. Would be interesting to know what exposure you used here. Nice effect with the blurred water and good quality from the slide film. Excellent work.

Wonderful composition and tones! The rounded rocks are in perfect harmony with the wawes. I like also the two contrary directions of the water. I have just found a little too dark the rocks - I tried to make some corrections in a workshop.
Best regards

Simply superb. What is the exposure time Colin? I want to try one like this but only now I'm equipped with a good DSLR. will try sooner.

Colin, it is really really weird!! I placed one of your pictures in my favorites when I registered 2-3 months ago as it is one of the first picture I really liked on this site when I discovered it late august 2005. What is weird is that it is the first time today that I checked to see if you were active again...and oh, surprise, you are back today!! :)
Those water shots with low shutter speed are always very spectacular, but this one is very special because the water seems to be coming from left and right. So, we kind of lose track of the direction of the water. The reflection on the rocks are very spectacular too!
Great work!
Marc
