Photographer’s Note

as i have already noted, Doubs is the river that crosses the city of Besancon. it makes a grate curve, like U, surrounding a high rocky collin, where is the old fortress (La Citadelle), and a grand flat area, where was built the old city, protected by the river. The only way to enter into the city, was one bridge, le pont Battant; today five bridges connect the old and the new city of Besancon.
in this photo you can see "le pont Battant"; as it is the oldest, it has one only arch, to avoid the danger of the force of the water in winter. on the wright side, the buildings of the late 18th century give a nice view to the entrance of the old city.

Voici une photo tout en longueur qui nous montre des batiments aux toits caractéristiques de l'architecture Bisontine. Haa les bords du Doubs, dis tu n'aurais pas une petite photo de guinguette ? Il y en a des sympas dans le coin !
Ps: Pourrais tu faire aussi tes notes en français,s'il te plait, pour les nulles comme moi !

Bonjour cherubin,

C'est une belle vue des quais. Les façades des batiments qui longe la rivière sont bien sculptées par les raons du soleil. C'était le bon moment pour faire cette vue

Salut Cherubin,
Bonne lumière autour du cours d'eau. Ces bâtiments en bordure du Doubs semblent avoir une personnalité intéressante, ne pourrais-tu pas les prendre plus de face pour mieux les montertr sur TE ? Bonne continuation,

Bonjour Cherubin, Bon POv, Une composition interressante, sur ses vielles maison qui longe le Quai, un peu domage qu'ont ne voit pas les détails
de ses demeures, beau ciel, doux soleil, Bravo

Όμορφη γωνία λήψης και πολύ καλή προοπτική. Η υφή του ωερού καθώς και του ουρανού φαίνονται πολύ όμορφα. Πάρα πολύ καλός φωτισμός!

Hello Cherubin, you have a beautiful light on these old buildings. The end wall has a wonderful glow while the angle of the light along the front creates shadows to really highlight the surface details. Nice composition with the trees bounding the image to the left and the bridge to link the two parts of the picture.
