Photographer’s Note
A quite uncommon view of one of the most touristical monument of Paris.
Why because it has been taken at the top of a large wheel which was assembled temporarily inside the Grand Palais.
This builiding is metamorphosed, for the end of the year, in a vast fun fair. Nail of this baptized initiative "Feastdays", large wheel a 30 meters height makes climb the visitors with the short-nap cloth of the canopies of the cupola.
Usually you can't see the eiffel tower from the floor because of big walls. You have to be near the cupola.
I will post next days some pictures of this fun fair..
With its 240 metre-long façade (entered from Avenue Franklin Roosevelt), the Grand Palais is used for various exhibitions.
2005 is a very nice year because this museum was closed for 12 years because of his oldness.
Thanks for your comments.
Regards.

Bien cordialement,
Emmanuel
