Photographer’s Note
The first image of my New Years Eve doof party photos.
Doof parties are organised by the small, yet strong psy-trance community. Generally having a very strong link to hippies, these parties are a great way to party outdoors in the Australian bush.
Over the next few days, I'll show some of the happenings and characters of the Perth doof scene.

Hi Brendan,
I like the motion blur. Its a very simple composition. The graphical logo gives us the context, the blurred hand and drum the passion.

Good idéa to promote nature & people protection for the beg. of the year. Actions are emphasized by the motion blur.
Also very sombolic, many messages but always some of them are shut down like the message in the bottom of the sign.
Thanks and Happy New Year !

Hi Brendan, I like this composition with a very opportune title, the hands in movement touching the drum announcing the message.
Happy year and a hug from Spain........ Paco

hey brendan. the motion blur works beautifully here ... especially since the tshirt logo has good focus. i also like the colours.
for me, this shot has a lot of meaning. being used to working amongst the indigenous community, i used to see these colours and motifs constantly ... for me, another nice reminder of home!
good shot!
