it was a dull day at this stage..mists just forming on the william clough area where i took this from...i stuck the camera on a fence post..

One side up and other down.
Geof, I am still confused and trying to search the tree subjects. Nice compoistion and good color and excellent Idea of straight-up dry grass and downward shadows/reflections of the unseen trees.

Interesting shot, Geof!
I like the way you almost made an imaginery flag with the angle you shot it at.
I've been wondering about rotating the pic to get a strange effect... see my workshop and let me know if you liked it,
