Photographer’s Note

Just started walking down from Mt. Rusulija, and have now come to the point were we really are starting to go down. The village at the end of the mountain is Radavc. The houses of the family I lived with you can see nearby the mountain on the right side,

I was told that scientist/geologist believe that a great part of Kosovo was a great lake for a long time ago. The country (not sure if they meen the border of today Kosovo) is surrended by mountain, and that except this borderland with mountains, the country is flat. (Maps that shows what I mean. This scene is similar to sitting on one of the hills of central California and looking out at the large inland valleys. Eons ago these valleys were inland sea beds and are almost perfectly flat. In one place, the Sacramento Buttes stick up from the Valley floor in what must have been an impressive reef when the Valley was flooded.

I've posted a Workshop. It's not a 'finished work', but an indication that with a bit of work you can cut the fog/smog and get a clearer view.

What a view! It must have been quite a hike to get there.
I like that you included the hiker. He sure seems to be drinking in the scenery.
I'd love to see a wide angle panorama from this viewpoint.

I just discovered this website while I was searching for photos from my home town and I found my village. Radavc is my homes were I grow up, and it is beautiful. I have been those mountains many times during my childhood.
