Photographer’s Note

Every year, the Northland Agricultural Field Days are held at the Dargaville Race Course. It’s a chance for manufacturers, businesses, and service providers to show what they have to offer to anyone interested enough to visit. It’s one of this region’s major annual events and, for many, a chance to catch up with people they otherwise rarely see. There are also a number of competitions that test people and machinery, the contestants competing for little more than the prestige of winning.
This year’s event attracted about 23000 people from all around New Zealand and from as far away as Europe.

This pic has been cropped from the original and brightened slightly.

Kind regards,
Tony
