Photographer’s Note

This is taken close to Mount Teide, Tenerife.

I think it's about 2,100 meters above sea level, in between two levels of clouds, i.e. the low white are clouds.

Quite simple PP: I cropped and darkened it in Picasa2 and ran it through Neat Image.

Lovely scenery and a splendid capture that you did so well. A clear quality picture in a excelent enquadrement and view. The adjustments you did a very fine. Excelent definition, blue and withe tone and also the foreground in silhuette. The sea is a must with the beaking waves and the light. Very good job so well seen and composed. What a magnific dramatic view from above the clouds! It's poetic and a magic moment, very well captured and composed, with this dark 'v' silloette in foreground framing the marvellous view to the infinite. The cloudy sky is gorgeous and those white clouds dowthere are really attractive to me. Congratulations!

Vidunderligt syn fra så højt et sted! De smukt formede skyer mod den blåhimmel, det ser rigtig flot ud! Træernes silhuetter virker også godt her.

Hello Magnus,
difficile de trouver des mots originaux pour qualifier une telle beauté de paysage et de ciel.
Les contrastes entre nuages et ciel sont fabuleux et les teintes qui colornet ces nuages, délicates.
Le cadrage inclut les silhouettes de forets sur des versants de montagne, c'est une excellente idée.
C'est féérique.
Vraiment spécial.

Hi Magnus, An impressive image with nice contrast and good saturated colors. The clear outline of the silhouette view of the land and the clear horizon well show the depth and clarity of the picture. A good way to show the clear air in the high mountain and the clear view. Well done.

One of the most beautiful sky I've seen here in TE. The blue is perfect and the clouds are so light and soft. The natural black framing is excellent to enhance the colors and clear part. Poetic.

Hi Magnus,
Exhilarating and poignant. The hues are rich and the silhouetted foreground sets a romantic mood, with the surf crashing below. Most of all, the clouds are dreamy and lazy, drifting about aimlessly in endlessly changing patterns. An enchanting moment in time you have captured, Magnus. Very satisfying work.

Hello Magnus, this is a striking contrasty picture. The silhouetted V of the foreground frames the rest of the scene well. There's a wonderfully silky feeling to this image and the clouds are stunning.
