La foto la saque en el inicio de los puentes que comunican las ciudades de Punta del Este y Maldonado con La Barra. Inicialmente existia solo un puente (el mas al fondo), pero hace ya unos años se contruyo un segundo puente debido a las grandes congestiones de transito que se provocaban en el verano.
Los puentes tiene la particularidad de que no estan apoyados sobre el lecho del rio sino que sus apoyos estan flotando, ademas de su forma con dos ondas, la cual es la diversión de los niños al pasar sus padres rapidamente con el auto, y sentirse como en una montaña rusa!

The picture was taken in the starting point of the bridges that connects Punta del Este city and Maldonado city with La Barra city. Formerly there was only one bridge (the one at background), but a few years ago was builded the right one due traffic jams in summer. The bridges have the particularity that the anchorage points are floating and not under the river. Also their form of two waves, that are the children entretainment when their parents drive fast over the bridges and they feel like in a roller coaster.
