Photographer’s Note

I Still had one more left
of that lovely boy in Amersfoort
I took pictures of last year,
near Monnikendam where the kid was placed
in a bed of crosusses by his father
to take pictures
of a very special occation I guess.
I still don't know if the boy was Turkish or Marroccan.

This is the third and last one.

oh boy, this is the killer!
that happy kid in the middle of the flowers fleid is like a symbol, like a poster fr some sort of charity action or something;
what a gorgeous idea, what a splendid work!

Hi,

I hate pictures of children. Too many people imagine that child's face makes photo more eye-catching and sweet. That's not my opinion. Childish faces seem all the same for me. Even in your picture the face of the child is extremely common. And that's good. Cause it makes me enjoy the ambiance of a place. I don't pay attention to a child just to the scene which has great colors. Also the composition is eye-catching. What is a little annoying: you've cut flowers with the frame what results in some loss of a harmony. But a part from that everything seems fine.

What a splendid shot! I love the bold colours, and the boy is perfectly framed in what looks like an infinity of crocuses. Superb lighting and good management of dof in the background, which really brings the boy's details to the fore.

I'm not even sure whether it's a boy or a girl. This baby is just too femininely decorated to be a boy :) And sitting amidst the sea of purple crocusses, just makes the baby that much more attractive, catching and feminine. And the light was in favor. A good example of baby/little people photography Albrecht.

This shot is amazing, I can't believe the clarity and colors. I have no doubts this photo will reach 100 points, and it's well deserving of so...

Was this the sharpness right off the camera, or did you do some tweaking in PS? The DOF makes for a nice bokeh for a backdrop.

VERY well done, I'm sure the boys parents would love a copy of this one!
