Photographer’s Note
Snapshot from the Mombassa-Nairobi train. We woke up to a pale sun rising over the misty plains creating a beatiful morning light. Tried to photograph the passing landscape but this one worked out the best due to simplicity of the composition.

Very nice. The side of the train looks really smooth, and it runs right into the mist. I would prefer it to be a bit more colourful - but then agin - this is probably what it looked like.
hmmm...i just had to try a workshop...hope you like it

Excellent shot. I like the angle and the dissappearing train very much. Well composed.

I love this shot, especially the way that the train fills the frame in the front and then fades into the mist in the back. Very clear, especially if you took it while the train was moving. The focus is a little soft, but I think it works well with the subject. Very nice image.

Really nice. Very simple elemetns, a sun and the side of a train and yes... the mist. It makes a very mysterious image and the title is just right. I wonder how you dared take a picture aiming your camera directly at the sun, I would fear that it would damage my sensors if I did that.

Very nice: the right place at the right moment as the first rule in photography . . .

Very beautiful...highly artistic. It is more than a snapshot. It does look like a professional snapshot. IMHO, a tighter crop in the left may improve the composition.

Why would someone say this is a terrible composition? I think it's great. The slight notice of a bend in the deep distance of this train is magnificent. I love the explosion of light, it adds a ghosted feel, like this train is heading into the next world. Beautifully done.

Great photo! I love the perspective and the almost B&W look of it. The way the train leads your eyes into the fog is just great!

Très belle photo !
C'est le train de l'enfer ? ;)
Cela donne un effet un peu morbide je trouve, c'est très réussi.

Now THIS is a shot that got my attention. I like the almost monochrome nature, and the glorious diffusion and reflections.
This is like art, rather than photography! Well done. Mange tak, Jay

The foggy mood is absolutely superb here. The length of the train diminishing in the distance creates some mystery.
Good one!

Bonsoir Mikkel,
Une belle prise de vue à contre-jour.C'est bien fait,J'aime bien le cadrage et la diagonale qui se termine dans le brouillard. Très bon effet de la lumière qui est la grande actrice de cette photo.
