Photographer’s Note
The Royal Scotish Academy was built in 1826 and houses many great art exhibits. The building is located in downtown Edinburgh and sits near the base of the hill where Edinburgh Castle sits high above the city. The classical architecture and great columns lend themselves to beautiful photos (OK, so I'm slightly biased!).
This shot was taken during a walking tour of the city and highlights the columns and the streetlamps surrounding the gallery. I particularly like the lines of the building.
