Photographer’s Note
Touring Japan you will often run into groups -- especially organized tours by major companies and school groups. I happened on this school group my first day in Tokyo. I liked the similarity in school uniforms, especially the white shirts, the leader with the megaphone, and the guide in the hat. After a while it got to be so commonplace I never thought to take a picture of it. But I did the first day.

I saw plenty of these groups too, when I was in Tokyo. A little different though, as there was always someone at the front holding up a flag to lead the tour group around. I saw lots of these groups at the Imperial Palace... a man was handing out flags and gave one to me. It would have been funny to have started waving it around and had people following me, thinking I was leading a tour!
Saw hundreds of school children at Ueno Zoo, also. Kindergarteners mostly, but a lot of high school classes there too.
Even for the Japanese, Tokyo is a great place for school trips and days out. ^_^
As for you photo *ahem*... Nice shot! I like the wide framing, and composition is good. Subjects are also very interesting. Japanese school uniforms for girls (or 'sailor uniforms') are very nice. Its not really fair, how the boys just get white shirts and black trousers. :P
