This shot was taken from the same place the previous post was taken, only facing west, toward Cerro Paine Grande and Glacier Frances, which part of it you can see here. Even this picture can not totally bring the immensity of this vista, seeing this great mass just stand there as it stood for thousand of thousand of years, with it's scarred and deep engravings that the combined forces of wind, water and snow generated over that time.
An interesting phenomenon are the dead trees that accompanied us along the way from the start some 30 km east to that point, and onward. If someone can supply with an interesting answer I would be happy to read about it!
PS - A minute after taking this picture, an avalanche happened right in front of our eyes - see it in the WS.

Chen, I don't like cliches, but WOW what an impressive view!!! Full of details, textures, great light and great composition. Envy your trip to the Patagonia.
