A wonderful photo! The incongruity and the simplicity remind me of some surrealist painting, particularly Magritte, although you have found a whole new "vocabulary" here... no hats or floating boulders, instead cows and boats! (But with a similar wonderful sky.) An immediate favourite.

Une photo merveilleuse ! L'incongruité et la simplicité me rappellent une certaine peinture surréaliste, en particulier Magritte, bien que vous ayez trouvé un nouveau "vocabulaire" entier ici... aucuns chapeaux ou rochers, au lieu de cela vaches et bateaux flottants! (Mais avec un ciel merveilleux semblable.) Un favori immédiat.

C'est peut etre classique pour nous ici en Corse mais ca me fait toujours rire ce genre de photos , il faut quand meme reconnaitre que c'est original en plus joli coup avec ce regard vers le bateau et a 2 metres de l'eau .. trop fort . Bravo pour la compo .

Est-ce ce qu'on appelle un "corsaire"? Le bateau, les cornes et la Corse m'ont fait penser à ce mot. Bon, je cesse là les mauvais jeux de mots et je dis ce que je pense de cette photo : un hommage à la relaxation, à la farniente, à la chaleur et à l'été. Avez-vous l'expression "faire la vache"? Ça veut dire paresser, fainéanter. C'est l'exact représentation graphique de cette expression. Moi, je l'aime bien ton cadrage serré. Merci!

Haha, well normally I'd relate animals like this to a dry farm in the middle of the country, this photo just throws all stereotypes out the window about livestock. A great contrast.

Faute de trains.....C'est évidemment le côté humoristique qui prime dans ta photo mais tu l'as bien accentué par ce cadrage original avec cette vache en hyper gros plan qui a pris une pose idéale.

Ciao Enrico. This is a wonderful capture, as it is unsual. Freinds of mine who have been to Corsica have tld me about these great bovines on the beach. I like the way you've framed this too, with the cows back and the boat in your eyeline. If I've understood your note properly it was due to the crowds right? Even more amazing that this cow chose to sunbath here! All in all a great image shot with diifcult lighting & busy beach.

I just love the beach life of the Corsican cows. Somebody should one of those days tell them that they are maybe a little bit out of focus with regard to ordinaire cow behaviour...
... do they use sun oil...? Do they have a tan...? Do they dream of owning a daycruiser..?do they have an agenda...? What kind of milk do they produce?

C'est vraiment trop drôle. Déjà qu'on ne voit pas souvent des vaches assise et au bord de la mer - mais d'aller jusqu'à observer des bateaux ??????
Les contrastes sont top et j'adore la couleur de l'eau.
Peut-être va t'on essayer l'option 4x4 mais si on tombe en panne à 40°C :(

Ciao! Si c'était le WE de l'ascension et la plage était pleine du monde j'ai pas du mal à comprendre parce que dans ce petit coin il n'y avait que cette vache toute seule. Puissance des dimensions!
Et bien, c'est bien sur une magnifique composition mais sourtout il faut apprecier ton clin d'oeil.
C'est pas grave si l'on n'aperçevoit presque pas le cap derrier.

- Celle là est vraiment chouette mais il est util de préciser que les belles plages Corses ne sont pas toutes occupées par les vaches, il y a aussi de jolies filles. En tout cas bien vu, excellent cadrage avec le bateau, couleur superbe, bravo !
