Abbay of Montmajour Photo

Photographer’s Note

On the road between Le-Baux-de-Provence and main road to Arles I found this charming castle. Unfortunatly I have not any information about it.
Friends from TE who know thet area well please help me to know about this castle.
This is fantastic area, wher are the last hills and comes to Camargue. From here is excelent wiew to all this wonderful area.

Loic /bazal/ ono of TE member help me and gave me a info about it, here it is:

This "Castle" you've found on the road from Fontvieille to Arles is in fact not a castle... This is the Abbay of Montmajour which was built in the XIth and XIIIth century.

Hello Marjan,
Very impresive shot.Nice composed with clear
details to castle.The blue sky with the strong
white clouds is nice addind for the image!
