Photographer’s Note

This is my very first picture on TE.
Alfama is an old quater of Lisbon. If you take a little cute yellow tram number 28 from the city center, you will see the city of Lisbon by night.

Great shot for your fist post!
The Point Of View is perfect, the light and the colours are magnificents!
Lisboa, and in particular Alfama are wonderful places, and your picture too!

Great shot to start off with Alana! I love this transition between day and night. We still have a lot of light in the sky, but we also get the lights shinning on the churches. Very well done!

Hello Alana, and welcome on TE,
beautiful composition and very good exposure, but you would have to choose to give importance either to the roofs or to the sky, because the image is divided in two parts, I think that with a half of the sky in less the image would be best.

Probably my most favorite of your images so far.

Excellent amount of detail in the buildings, a beautiful sky which just pulls it all together.

Hi Alana,
I guess it's not to late to welcome to this great site. I can see for the your photos of your gallery that you have great potential. You posted some good ones already. May be some have a bit too much of PP (I can also see that you have skills for making the images appealing). This first one is an excellent POV over the beautiful Alfama (I have a similar one from this POV, but not so good and I haven't posted, in the 'blue hour'. The sky is amazing and the light on the monuments in the back is very pretty. Continue with the good work!
