°Sunset leaving Mangulam Photo

Photographer’s Note

Leaving the village Mangulam I stopped my bike seeing this sunset and waited till the sun gave its most beauriful moment over the ricefields.

On the way back to Madurai the sky became later on even more totaly intens red colored till the sun went totally down, I never had seen such an intensity before and it lasted at least 30 minutes, then it became dark.

Enjoy this sunset seen on the country side at 18:22 o'clock.

Sure I must go back there ...

Tell you what Henk, this is definitely one of the best sunset scenes I've ever seen. The palm trees against the vermillion clouds is just too good & is a visual treat

hi henk, all right, no men on this photo, but if i ever wanted a postcard from henk jacobs it would probably be this one - the beauty of the colours is too obvious to comment on but the palm trees sticking out so high are simply awesome;

Wow, that's a beautiful picture you've got there. Really, wow, lol!

One gripe is the tiny red cloud in the middle of the picture between the two palm trees - it's a bit TOO red.. That's the only thing I can point out in this pic. It's literally perfect. Two thumbs up!

For someone who is so into portraits and daily life photos, this an awesome sunset landscape. The coconut trees in silhoutte makes for a fascinating composition against a very intense looking sky.

This is attractive,with fantastic sky and clouds fiormation,look at those colors,wonderful with fading amazingly,wonderful gallery of sunset colors,and her the trees in silhouettes made the scene and picture more poetic for me,...oh,rice fields!...if I was there,the scene elements combination maybe made me mad :))

Somptueux ce ciel, assez splendide ces tons chauds et ces diféérentes touches de oranges au milieu de ces gris-bleus.
J'aurais peut-être cropé la partie basse et juste garder les silhouettes de la végétation.
En tous cas, beau moment.

Hallo Henk,
Goh man, en ik maar denken dat je een mensen fotograaf was, maar zelfs dit heb je in je vingers dus.
Dit is uitstekend belicht, met zelfs nog detail in de voorgrond, dat maakt het beeld juist zo vol diepte, wat je vaak bij dit soort foto's mist.
Horizon kleuren en wolken zijn lekker dik aangezet, dat mag ik graag zien. De zon heeft kracht, dus moet dat ook uitgestraald worden.
Prachtig werk, erg mooi...!!!

The tonal range, the dramatic, I'd say expressionist colours, the palm trees swaying in the wind by the red sky are simply breathtaking!

La qualité d'image est remarquable.

I remember a beautiful sunset on the Vagai river after a so so hard stroll around the city ;o) another beautiful one on the granite carrier....such a good memomries...
