Photographer’s Note
A short story from persian literature:
A rich man was travelling in india. he went to a forest where many parrots were living and told them that he also has a parrot who is living in a cage. when he finished, parrots droped dead one after another in front of his surprised eyes.
he returned home and told his parrot about what happened in india. his parrot dropped dead too. he opened the cage to examine him but suddenly the parrot flew away.
they tought him how to escape by playing dead.

I like a lot your "update" of the old story. A very good closeup, good diagonal composition. I also like that you just suggest, not showing the whole, but just part of them. Who is here captured by whom? - may I ask, if I imagine the cage is not there...
Very well sen and done.

Aha, so that was their last resort... realising that their far away cousins shared the same fate, their caged existence no longer held any meaning... but the black bird inside the cage is not a parrot, is it? Perhaps it is an ex-parrot. Good shot, title and story.
