Photographer’s Note
This traveller was roaming around the Heera Mandi (Diamond Market) of Lahore's old walled city when I met him. Lahore's Old City, playground of Rudyard Kipling's Kim, remains the most exotic place I have ever seen. Kim doubtlessly would have come across characters such as this one in his daily ramblings.

Great one today....the best of any of your portraits I think...a real character and great background....nicely done. Maybe a step to the left...get his whole arm in there?

I don't like split hand but the NOTE is surprising that such MALANG was wondering in Heera Mandi, might he expected more from RANDI then AWAMMUNNAAS may be he was there for change of OIL..

Salam Ryno, excellent shot - so that even the `lost` hand doesn't bother me none. An interesting note sticking out from his sack. I find the hint of a smile on his face quite fascinating. Great job! Cheers from bishkek, gyrgyzstan!
