Photographer’s Note

This is a photo I took in Xilitla, a small village of the San Luis Potosi sierra of Mexico. Coffee is a very important culture for people as we can saw trough this painting of a modest coffee house.
Coffee market is in crisis since 1999 and for those people it's a pitty but the paysan organisation go trough this type of problems with a very interesting flexibility in their life strategies: migration in USA, work temporaly in the city, self production of corn, vegetables and fruits...

Bonjour
Le cliché met bien en valeur les couleurs de cette fresque. Le "touriste" (voyage familial?) est en fait bien venu, encadré par les "locaux" de la peinture murale.

Hallo Jerome,
perfect framed with the door in a corner and excellent saturated colors to spot this most remarkable and vivant wall painting out, good to have an actor in the door opening, maybe with a local customer leaving this establishment unaware of your shooting or put in stage as such could tremendously benefit the capture as he got a nice smiling gaze but a bit too posed this handsome tourist :)).
A fine capture of this coffee house and even with him posing I enjoyed it already a lot. I normally do not like to compare but to be honnest, it makes me think a bit at An for the same great colorsetting.

Salut Jerôme, les couleurs sont vraiment contrastées et puissantes. Y a une bonne dose d'énergie qui se dégage de tout ça. Comme d'habitude agrémentée d'une note intéressante.

Hola Jero ! Me gusta la alegría , el color abigarrado de esa foto inunda la pared ...Es Trostky uno de los personajes pintados en la parte izquierda de la foto? En cualquier forma sería un lujo visitar lugares así , esa orgía de color y arte popular ;)

great painting, its nice to see a photo that just shows off the local creativity. we dont see many house paintings like that anymore and its nice that people are still wanting to express themselves like that.

Muy buena foto, aunque me hubiese gustado que tu amigo,me imagino que es tu amigo, no hubiese posado para la camara, pudo haber sido mas expontaneo. Siembargo, me gustan mucho los colores y tu marco.

Muy buena en verdad, (pintoresca foto) gracias por ensenar mas algo de Mexico.

Aproposito ahora estoy sacando algunas fotos del pais vasco en el sur de Francia, en Aquitan mas bien en Saint Jean de Luz.

Bueno sobre lo que escribi sobre Mexico bueno creo que es verdad, hay cosas que nunca van a cmabiar pero bueno, no quise hacerte pasar un mal rato, solo fue loque me salio del corazon en ese momento, pero mira no te tomes esto muy enserio la verdad es que creo que eres un gran seer humano y el hecho de que estes en Mexico hacienod lo que hacces habla mucho mejor de ti que mil papabras.
