Photographer’s Note
When i worked in Panama, i used the opportunity to go to the Dominican Republic and visit the first city in the new world. I loved it! full of colonial history and beautiful architecture.
This shot is from the old city wall facing the historical town centre.
It is a scan from a negative

Hej Harry,
The path leads the eye well to the buildings in the background. The composition is very good and I like the colours too. Well done!

Very nice shot, Harry, clear sky and a nice POV. Francisco Alberto Caamaño's Avenue (also know as Port Avenue) is seen. The far right building is the Museo de las Casas Reales (Royal Houses Museum), and the second far right is the Natiional Pantheon, were are buried many of Dominican Heroes. At left, you can see the Ozama Fortress.
Congrats on this nice picture, you shooted it with Alcazar de Colón by your left and back.

Hola Harry.
Very good picture of the colonial zone and harbour of Santo Domingo, nicely captured, good lighting and sharpness. Your POV is excellent. Great colour contrast.
Well done.

Harry, your image brings me a lot of good memories. When I was younger, I lived in Santo Domingo and this was one of my favorite places to hang around. Your image does a lot of justice to the area. Well seen!
Cheers,
Enrique
