Photographer’s Note

This is one face which still haunts me although it has been almost two years since I last met him. I can still hear him say in his groggy voice chobi pathabi to? (Will you send me the pictures?). His piercing eyes despite his age, his crooked face is something I have never come across. Its a face to rememeber for sure. I had shot him in colour but thought sepia tone brings out the best out of his character. This man and the place where I had taken this picture has a history dating back a long way. You can find more about it in one of my earlier posts Old Man amidst the Ruins. For the closer portrait shot, I had decided to go with the face only instead of the ruins.
