Photographer’s Note
This is a close view of the swan shown in this picture at a different direction. The water body is the moat surrounding the high walls of the Imperial Palace where the Japanese’s Imperial Family live.

Nice shot Wes, the picture has good colors and sharpness. The reflection of the swan on the water looks very good, love the way you captured the water. Good POV. Sharpness and compo are great.
Well done.

Hi Wes
Good idea to use a vertical format to include the fg reflection. Good sharpness & reflections. Tfs!

I love the fairly minimal composition with the inclusion of a lot of the water in the foreground. Well chosen placement of the swan in one of the "magic spots", giving both room for the reflection and space for him to swim into. The shadow of his head on his body is a lovely addition.

Good composition here Wes - the reflection & shadow of the Swan is a nice eefect.
Initially I was thinking that maybe a crop of the bottom area would be a good idea, but looking at it again it's fine as it is with no further changes required.

Hi Wes,
The rich tones of the gently rippling water act as a lovely foreground for the swan. Good lighting and sharpness level and an appropriate use of the vertical format. An ideal POV for this tranquil scene. Well done.

Hi Wes
The swan is perfectly placed in the frame allowing us to see all his reflection. He is also looking into the frame. Beautiful blue tones of the water. The ripples have a nice graphical effect.
Best wishes

Hi Wes
Good classic framing and a nice, peaceful setting to capture this graceful bird. Nice reflecton and a good style and angle to capture the bird in. The colour of the water is also impressive as it brings out the picture more. Good work.

Hi Wes,
That's a pretty pic from Japan. Even though there isn't much drama going on the technical quality is superb. The details of the swan and the ripples are good. And it's well placed to the left corner. Good lighting too. Well taken!

Hello Wes,
Very nice photo, every swan photo I see have the swan in profile so it is very nice to se the swan swiming towards the camera for a change. Nicely captured. TFS.
