Hi Wes, I like the view of this place with the colors casted by the sun.
I find that from the angle you are taking this photo, the horizon is slightly tilted to the left. Some chromatic aberration is noticable on the palm trees and lamppost.

Great positioning of the sun, just over the shell. The contrast in this is nice too, between the warm sky and pastel water and the dark, almost silhoetted pier. Great work!

well about this photo, i like it even better than your last photo from this place as it is rich in colours being reflected from the water ... and that is what I like the most about this photo ...

Yes, it as one of your favorites, I like this one even better for the framing of the sculpture above the pier. Like Chrisina, I think the gull adds a lot as well. Light and color are wonderful in both photos.

I like both shots Wes. Each one shows care, thought and patience to place the sun in the frame for maximum effect. The people silhouettes also add a lot to the composition and the glow and reflected light in the sea is really lovely.

The scene is captivating, as one's eye is drawn instantly and compellingly to the sun, perfectly in the centre of the sail motif. The silhouetted figures add a surreal touch, and there is superb graphism here. Finally, the orange sky contrasts so well with the blue water. This is very fine work, Wes. I love it.

On this image there are so many thinks they make it wonderful.
The composition with the sun on the top of this decoration, the people on this bridge, the colors, the flying bird, the lines, all together make this image wonderful.

Very interesting sunset! One of the most interesting ones I've seen, thx to your perspective & compo. The silhouettes are pretty nice and colours as well. Only thing need improvement is probably the sharpness. Great shot!

A fine moody image - I would say theres something japanish over this image - properly the sun and the shell model - thanks for sharing - may be a little more sharpness would have been nice - but never mind :-)

Interest shot with interesting angle.
But I found the image is a little blur.
from the exposure value, it is consider okayed, if you were to retain the sunset with its reflection onto the sea. Probably a shaky hand resulted the blurness, huh!
Everything is composed perfectly, Wes, except for the blurness.

Interesting to see the similarity and the difference between this picture and the picture of a year ago. I think this one is more artistic and one could say a more “impressionistic” approach of the subject.

Hi wes. This is a beautiful seaside view. The strong composition makes this shot good. A bit sharpness need to be improved, but the photo itself is a great one. Hey, I got my comp's HDD crashed, so I recommend you to store the datas in another devicce frequently...just in case. hehe.
