[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I took this photo in order to share the sense of pristine openness of this part of the Victorian coast with my viewers. The only work done to the image afterwards was a slight boosting of saturation, using PSP7, in order to bring out the clouds and the white of the surf.

Welcome to TrekEarth, Ray. I see many beautiful spots on this composition (sand soft color, wet sand reflecting the sky, detailed white waves, dark horizon line and rich sky) All these make a very attractive combination showing, as you mention the immensity of that place. Just regret waves are a bit far. (see ws)

wow, great photo, have luck in your future pictures

the first thing i thought when i saw this photo was "wow, look at all this space"! then i read your note... so it looks like you accomplished what you were trying to share.

i think that if the photo was taken nearer the sea (so that the breaking waves would be a bit more visible) it would benefit the overall aspect of the photo... but then perhaps that sense of openness would not be as strong!

Not badly, pretty framing and a good equilibre between sky ground and sea, I like the clouds.

One of the most beautiful and captivating pictures of the victorian coast I have seen Ray. Yoo have positioned the horizon perfectly.

Bela foto. As nuvens rasgadas e a areia molhada, dão-lhe uma perspectiva de profundidade necessária ao tema. Parabéns e bem-vindo ao TrekEarth.

Welcome to TE Ray! This is a superb first post, technically well balanced. You are right, it is not often one gets to see such pristine openness. Thanks for sharing. Points tomorrow for this one - I love the beach! More especially the pristine open ones...

La simplicité n'exclut pas la qualité, vous en avez donné la preuve par cette excellente photographie.
Très bien, Ray.
Simplicity does not exclude quality, you gave of it the proof by this excellent photography. Very well, Ray.

Lovely 'Big Sky' shot, great feeling of the space experienced on such a beach. Makes me want to run along the beach(!).

Very beautiful sky and great framing. Well seen.

Stunning photo Ray, really captures the beauty of Venus Bay. I love the feeling of complete solitude, but also the exhilaration of the wide expanse. The horizon perfect, and amazing natural lines. Well done.

The vastness of Australia really comes to light in this shot. You have just the right contrast in the sky and in the surf. A very well done work.

minimalist but very effective, the wispy clouds are magnificent!
The sea, the beach and clouds are converging to a point, good perspective

Good shot

Such a nice picture. The clouds works like a focus to infinite.
Thanks for your comment. Fernanda
