the House with the red Eyelashes

After my picture of the House with the Blue Eyes in Copenhagen, I would like to show you this building, also in Copenhagen, that can be called "Huset med de røde øjenvipper" ("the House with the Red Eyelashes"). I upload this picture in cooperation with Rob, who today will upload a photo with a similar, but more abstract pattern.

This building can be found next to H.C. Ørstedsparken. It is the office of the company Realkredit Danmark and is located at Jarmers Plads in the centre of Copenhagen. This picture was taken from H.C. Andersens Boulevard. I cropped the bottom of the shot to get rid of all the traffic.

Hi Lars, Without your title, I would not directly connect this picture to be a building. A nice capture of repetitive patters of the windows. Except one, it looks that every one of them were in an exact perfect position. It is good to be different to be noticeable :D
Nice contrast under the bright sun. A well composed picture.

A nice variation in this theme of stange but colorfull facades. The comparison with eyelashes is very well chosen. Perjhaps a little less geometrical thant the "hosue with blue eyes" and thus more lively and human.

Hi Lars,

Amazing shot, but one shouldn't watch it fir too long, otherwise the eyes begin to hurt... I was seeking for one lifted "eyelash" and bingo, I found one! Great picture, but do you really need this signature in the bottom?...

Hi Lars, another funny place with funny name. I prefer the previous one as the top level of a eyelash was damaged and disrupt the pattern.

Hoi Lars, een heel mooi pui-grafisme weer, strak die eindeloze repetitie. De zonwering met de resulterende schaduwen (mooie beeld: eye lashes)geven een sterk 3D effect en zoals Stephan al opmerkt is de dwarse zonwering boven aan een element die het patroon bevestigd. Goed werk! En een mooi onderdeel van de tandemposting met Rob.

Hi Lars - I like this one better, the graphism has more impact, I wish there was a way to avoid the cables, poles and street signs, but at least they are not very distracting.

Hi Lars,
I like this picture as much as the previous one. It's even more colourful and the pattern is even more interesting. On the other hand, a small distortion is visible here, especially along the top edge. A white frame would perhaps help.

Another impressive and graphic work. The framing is perfect and I like the effect of the shadows too. As you have filled the whole frame with the subject matter the impact is total. Nice work.

WOW!! This is really impressive. I have never seen anything like this. You really seem to have mastered the art of capturing these 'eyelashes' :)
Very graphical image but what impresses me most is its simplicity. Wonderful eyes you have to capture this. Smart croppoing.

Hi Lars, happy you give me the opportunity to enter your gallery, i've a particular way to critic and i've already seen it, here i stop on that one.
Excellent, very graphical with a great power on eyes, it caught mine instaneously as i saw that one.
I think i would have perhaps reinforce contrasts and saturation but this is someting personnal for sure as i'm a lover of contrasts ;)
